Forgiveness is a central theme in many faiths and is essential for spiritual growth and healing. It involves letting go of anger and resentment towards oneself or others. Forgiveness can be a difficult process, but it can also be liberating and bring peace to the soul.
To be saved, ones must ask forgiveness for their sins, turn away from their sins, believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose again. Acts 4:12 states, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. John 14:6-7, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Music has been used in religious worship for thousands of years. It can evoke powerful emotions, create a sense of community and help connect worshippers to the divine Elohim Almighty. Music in worship, teaches gospel and instruct us in the Good News. Hymns and other forms of music can compact our faith and make it memorable. Music is our way to express our response to God, through singing or uses of instruments. Music continues to strengthen community bonds and help tell stories. Music help process emotions with songs of celebration leading us to dance and songs of lament leading us to tears. Uniting us to God. We recognize the importance of music in spiritual practice. In Psalm 47:1, O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. In Psalm 150:3-6, Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Come join the worship to our Risen King Jesus Christ.
Gratitude is an attitude of thankfulness and appreciation for the blessings in one's life. It is a key aspect of many faiths and can help cultivate a positive mindset and outlook on life. Practicing gratitude can also improve mental and physical health.
The Holy Scriptures teaches us that God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. This is a time a restoration.
Being one who has been baptized and is willing to take upon themselves the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and follow Him. If we are going to be Jesus' disciple, we must renounce all worldly ideas and be willing to live according to biblical ideas and convictions. This life of discipleship brings blessings of growth and refinement. Jesus taught to put God first in our lives, and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
